March of the aerocats

March is more than a month, it's a determined forward progression. Spring has taken a mighty leap: The rain is falling, the hyacinth are blooming. Everything marches forward, even time. But not me. I am a poor marcher, preoccupied with plot twists, shapeshifting, laws of planetary motion. I lose time. I linger and hesitate. I'm up to my ears in aerocats. So I'm taking a few weeks off. Look for Aerophant in the April skies, after the rain is gone and the stars return, and the aerocats have come back down to earth.

Enjoy your hiatus as much as we all enjoy Aerophant. See you in April!

May your vernal equinox be filled with gentle soaring as your aerocat tail helps you navigate a soft landing.

I wish you would credit the photos and art work that isn't yours.

Anon, that is a good idea, and I will try harder to do that. When I'm using an illustration that isn't mine I usually have some kind of connection to the image or the artist. The art for this post, for instance, is a photograph of a painting I own. I saw it on Etsy in 2008, thought about it for three years, and finally bought it from the artist, Jane Kim.
