funny, i don't think i've ever seen a lick of green in mondrian's work. perhaps the green stains from the grass reflections turned him off forever. i guess those were pretty nice pants.

Bookfraud, I believe you're right: Piet never met a green he liked, and in general he avoided nature like the plague. I've read that he would go so far as to trade places with a fellow diner at a cafe so he wouldn't have to look at the trees out the window.
