Fleeting observations, very short stories, brief histories, and amazing tales of derring-do.
I do understand.., but where did you get this photo and WHAT IS HE DOING TO THOSE POOR TURTLES?
I'm finally breaking the grip of a four year procrastination spree. Don't know how long this new burst of motivation will last, but I'm going to make the most of it.
I'm worried about the catastrophic oil spill if that one turtle with the cannister on his back moves. Even procrastinators make slow progress. Although that may be a set up for the man-procrastinator to just have more clean up and polishing procrastination to do. He's a sly one. They probably want him over at the monkey house cleaning up poop when he's done.
Squirrel, by jove, you're right. We should never underestimate the slowpokes. Come to think of it, that's quite a metaphor for the pickle we're in: a tortoise with an oilcan on its back.Sarah, I love it that your procrastination is a "spree." That's the right spirit!Farmlady, I think it's the London Zoo. Because who else but the Brits would polish a tortoise?
Obviously, this is how they invented TURTLE WAX.
That's it: Come over here right now and visit me. There's a mooncake with your name on it.
