funny ... any new apartment, house or abobe I've moved into never feels like home until I have unpacked by books ... just knowing they are there provides an anchor for my soul ... they are indeed old friends who are there when you need them ...
I need a bookshelf in every room. Just glancing at them brings comfort. You can't go to bed with a Kindle even though the words might be the same.
p.s. Is that "You and Me..." on the bottom shelf?
It sure is. Always within reach.
Funny, after I read a book, even if I love it I like to give it away. I think I'm the only reader I know who prefers not to have books around. Excuse me while I go and wonder why.
You just don't like a lot of clutter, Cake, and books can be cluttery. That's my theory.
